What should I include in my message?
The basics are enough: the type of property, roughly which areas and materials are affected, whether authorities were involved and have released the scene, and how you'd like to be reached. You don't need to describe the incident itself. We can ask follow-up questions once we're in touch.
Is the information I send kept private?
We use it to respond to you and, if you go ahead, to provide services. We don't sell it, and we share it only with service providers that help run this website and handle inquiries, or where the law requires. No online form is completely secure, so please share only what's needed. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Do authorities have to release the scene before cleanup starts?
Yes, if police, fire, or a medical examiner were involved. Cleanup can begin only once the responsible agency has released the property, and you should ask that agency if you're unsure. You can still contact us beforehand to ask questions and plan. Our crime scene cleanup page explains how that process usually works.
